SUMMARY: Ensure
foremen perform their responsibilities to achieve the Company goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and delegate responsibilities to foremen for
floor personnel.
- Assign production quotas to different departments.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments to maximize
efficiencies.
- Ability to accomplish short and long term schedules.
- Provide overall safety of the fabrication facility.
- Responsible for the overall quality of the product.
- Responsible for the development of all subordinates.
- Research and recommend new products, machinery and
material.
- Responsible for coordinating production and
resources to maximize revenue and profits.
- Lead the day to day operations of fabrication shop.
- Initiate lean improvement process.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a best in class fabrication facility.
- Provide timely one-on-one feedback to all employees.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the
organization.
- Provide progressive leadership throughout the
organization
- Develop a Best in Class safety culture.
- Promote an Out of Box improvement culture.
- Develop an engaged work force.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 plus years experience/knowledge of fabrication,
design and management required.
- Must be able to apply innovative and effective
management techniques to maximize employee performance
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry
practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities
are vital.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
essential.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong technological skills.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes and codes AWS,
DOT, AREMA, AISC.
